See https://helpdesk.upou.edu.ph/support/solutions/articles/48001184278--fics-do-i-need-permission-from-my-fic-and-dean-to-apply-for-dropping- for details about how to drop any course in which you are enrolled, including information about the deadline for dropping courses.
The deadline for dropping courses is also listed on the Academic Calendar. You can also apply for a change in matriculation instead of dropping a course.
You do not need permission from anyone to drop a course. You do not even need to inform the Program Chair that you are dropping the course. However, as a matter of courtesy, your course FIC will likely appreciate it if you drop them a quick email to let them know you've dropped their course. You should keep in mind the possible consequences of dropping courses, such as underloading or exceeding your Maximum Residency. For these reasons, it is recommended that you re-map your Plan of Study if you drop any courses.
