What is the difference between academic and non-academic units?

In generating your Plan of Study, you will come across the term "non-academic units". Non-academic units refer to units that are credited to what are considered non-academic classes, such as PE and CWTS/NSTP. These units do not count towards your academic load but are nonetheless a requirement for you to earn your ASIT degree.

All other courses (including your major, GE, and Common courses) contribute to your academic load.
